At Seda Sengezer | House of Clay, we bring you an exquisite collection of home goods that seamlessly blend tradition, artistry, and modern elegance. Our founder, Seda Sengezer, a Bilkent University Accounting Information Systems (French and English) graduate, spent years in the corporate world before reigniting her passion for design and art through Vakko Esmod Fashion Design Education.

During her fashion studies, Seda also delved into ceramic education, where her passion for ceramics took a definitive turn. A visit to her childhood summer home in Mersin rekindled fond memories of her early encounters with ceramics, inspired by the timeless beauty of her family’s lemon trees. Seda established her own studio in the same year, fully committing to ceramics. During this period, she met Hatice Yazıcıoğlu Gürler, an internationally renowned artist, who played a significant role in Seda’s ceramic journey through a master-apprentice relationship. Gürler’s mentorship and unwavering support were crucial as Seda honed her skills and explored various ceramic techniques.

Since 2021, Seda has been refining her art, combining her technical prowess with boundless creativity. This journey has culminated in the creation of a brand that celebrates Seda’s artistic vision and deep appreciation for the art of ceramics.
